I was looking at the advertisement for about 15 minutes wondering what message does it really wants to convey. However after a few more minutes I end up evaluating the ad as follows:
In terms of ATTRACTION:
Yes, it is quite attractive because it instantly caught my interest unfortunately the background color being used which I think is yellow green or some sort of green doesn't match to the colors of Magnolia advertisements. In just one look, you will not easily recognize that, "Ahhh. Its a Magnolia advertisement". I still have to look at its logo to make sure what specific brand is it advertising.
In terms of COMPREHENSION:
I find it so textual that my eyes are being overfed with too much information in just one look. They try to fit in as many information they can in just one advertisement which I don't find it useful. An effective ad should use few words only so they can assure that it will truly stick to the minds of the audience or consumers.
In terms of ACCEPTABILITY:
There's no portion in the advertisement that contains malicious or vulgar words. I believe that the characters and wordings used are acceptable in the general public so there's no reason for this ad to be unacceptable.
In terms of SELF-INVOLVEMENT:
Well as it portrays, chocolait comes from the combination of chocolate and milk of course. Yes its an instant factor because people wants something delicious yet healthy. However, the picture doesn't give me any reason to crave for chocolait. It's less appealing though I know that the message of the ad is directed to me. They should still put more effort on putting a better picture.
In terms of ACTION:
I am not convinced to try the drink because it doesn't look so palatable. I am not so encouraged as well to introduce the product to my family and friends.
All in all , the ad needs to improve more in the give criterions I've discussed above.
