The commercial was about a baptismal wherein the parents of the baby both have fair skin but when the priest saw the baby, she has darker complexion compared to her parents. Then when the priest looked at the family of both sides, on the father side all of when have fair complexion but on the mother's side they have darker complexion same as to the baby.The gist is that the mother used biolink for her to achieve that fair complexion of hers. And obviously the baby inherits the mother's original skin color. 

Technically speaking, the commercial have a good story telling yet its a bit incomplete in the last part. I think there should be more discussion about how it happened like for atleast a five seconds flashback of the mother using the biolink soap and thats what happens to her after using so. 

Because the product wasn't emphasize that much. What I will remember is the humor being used not the product it is trying to endorsed. It only needs to put more emphasis on the product and the commercial will be better and effective.

To the storytelling, there's no doubt that the writer has a brilliant mind to come up with the concept. Thats all.
